What if "Twin Flames" do not exist?

What if "Twin Flames" do not really exist? What if it is all made up to distract us from remembering who we really are and living our true soul's purpose? What if "Twin Flames" and the whole concept and theory behind them are just part of the "illusion", "veil" and "the matrix"?
